Solana Name Service (by bonfida) has recently been getting some attention.
A name service or domain name allows cryptocurrency users to send and receive transactions using a human readable name. Think john.sol or matt.eth, making it incredibly easy to identify oneself on the blockchain (if you so wish).
The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) airdropped governance tokens to their users, setting a precedent for SNS to do the same. With much speculation and an uptick in trading volume, there could very well be something on the horizon.
