Emergency Update for Chrome Users

Hi all, there’s a highly unusual and emergency Chrome update that needs your attention.

This affects anyone who uses MetaMask or any other wallet in association with Chromium-based browsers (e.g. Brave, Opera, Edge) browsers, or anyone who uses them generally.

Please immediately update to this Chrome version: 99.0.4844.84

For Chrome users, here’s what to do:

  1. Navigate to the 3 dots (⋮) on the top right of your browser
  2. Click ‘Help’
  3. Click ‘About Google Chrome’
  4. Wait for Chrome to update
  5. Restart Chrome
  6. Check that the version is: 99.0.4844.84
