The Australian Football League (AFL) announced it will be launching non-fungible tokens (NFTs) representing memorable moments from the league’s history.
The AFL has partnered with Animoca Brands—one of the world’s largest blockchain gaming and NFT companies—on the NFT initiative.
AFL CEO Gillon McLoughlin confirmed that one of the first AFL NFTs will be tied to AFL superstar Lance Franklin’s 1,000th goal.
