I’ve personally worked with Matt for close to seven years, and I can confidently say he’s one of the best analysts in the world. He’s been early on so many major opportunities from Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, to Pendle and beyond, and he continues to be a driving force behind the strategic research we share with our community every week.
About Matt
Matt is the Director of Research at Collective Shift, where he leads our internal team of analysts focused on delivering high-quality, research-backed insights across crypto-assets and blockchain technology.
He’s been working full-time in the crypto space since 2017 as a writer, reporter, and independent researcher. He also holds a Bachelor of Business from Monash University, majoring in accounting and economics.
Matt is known for his sharp market calls, deep fundamental analysis, and a rare ability to simplify complex narratives into actionable takeaways for investors.
He also regularly speaks at events around Australia and brings a powerful mix of experience, curiosity, and strategic thinking to everything he does.
What This Means for Members
With Matt stepping into this leadership role, our research function is only going to get stronger.
He’ll be working closely with our team of analysts, including Simon, Checkmate, Victor, and others, to keep raising the bar on the insights, frameworks, and deep dives we deliver across the platform.
