Category: General FAQs
The NFT Portfolio is a collection of prospective blue-chip non-fungible tokens (NFTs) Collective Shift is investing into with a medium to long-term focus. The building of the portfolio is intended to provide a guide for investors looking to invest in NFTs.
The portfolio seeks to provide an increase in investment value over a 5-year period. It is benchmarked against ether (ETH) and aims to outperform an equivalent investment in ETH over an identical period. The portfolio implements a long-only strategy that blends active and passive investment management styles.

How often will you update Pro & Legacy members on the NFT Portfolio?
As per above, monthly NFT Portfolio reports will be published. Additionally, Pro & Legacy members get same-day alerts whenever we change our portfolio.
Are members notified when Collective Shift sells an NFT previously held in the NFT Portfolio?
Yes. Members are notified shortly after we sell an NFT previously held in the NFT Portfolio.
Notification comes by way of a new post on the Member Platform in the ‘Our Investments’ section. This post includes verifiable transaction details and an explanation of why the relevant NFT was sold.
How are the NFT Portfolio’s returns calculated?
Returns are calculated using the floor price of the relevant NFT collection. Floor price data is retrieved from OpenSea as it is the largest NFT marketplace by volume traded.
How much has been allocated to the NFT Portfolio?
The portfolio has an allocation of US$20,000, all of which is intended to be deployed in 2022.
How often will new NFTs be added to the NFT Portfolio?
Whilst it is difficult to predict exactly when we’ll buy another NFT, we expect to buy at least 3 per quarter until such time that the allocation of $20,000 has been fully deployed.
Who is in charge of the NFT Portfolio?
Matt Willemsen (Head of Research & Content) and Nathan Gurr (Senior Research Analyst).
Will Matt and Nathan still be sharing their personal NFT investments?
Yes, these will continue to be published on the Member Platform.
