Why I Started Collective Shift, and Where We’re Going
I started Collective Shift in Melbourne in 2020. Most people in crypto don’t have a strategy, they have a series of reactions. The biggest thing that I mucked up was that I didn’t take profits in my first cycle. That’s why everything we do starts with one rule: write the plan in a calm market, so you never have to decide in a chaotic one.

What We’re Here to Do
Our mission is to give every serious investor in digital assets a plan they wrote themselves, in a calm market, before the next chaotic one arrives.
How we do it
Most of the people we work with built their wealth in a business, a career or property, and they didn’t do it on vibes, they did it on process. Collective Shift brings that same discipline to digital assets. We’re Your Digital Asset Co-Pilot, so you keep the controls of your own assets while the SHIFT Method turns research into written decisions on your Strategy Sheet, with a Profit Ladder for the exit written down before you need it. We invest our own capital on the research we publish and show members every decision in the Live Crypto Portfolio (see our analysts’ portfolio buys and sells), including the ones we passed on. Alongside, not instead of. We don’t manage your money. We show you every decision we make with ours, and help you write your own version of each one.

These five steps are what we believe about investing in digital assets, written as things you actually do. We run our own portfolio this way, and it is the order every member works through.

Set your plan in writing
Before any money goes in, you write down what you own, why you own it, how much you will put in and what would make you change your mind. That written plan is your Strategy Sheet.

Hold Bitcoin as your core
Bitcoin sits at the centre of the portfolio, and you decide in advance how you will hold it and where it is kept.

Invest in on-chain businesses with real revenue
Beyond Bitcoin, the focus is on networks and applications that run on a blockchain (on-chain) and earn real fees from real users.

Filter every coin before you buy
Every coin goes through the same checks before you buy it, including who holds the supply, what unlocks are coming and whether anyone actually uses it.

You plan partial sales in advance with a Profit Ladder, so selling happens by plan rather than by panic.

Your assets stay in your own accounts and wallets. We don’t hold them, we don’t trade for you and we don’t give personal financial advice. We give you research, education and people to check your thinking with.
We show our own decisions
Members follow the Live Crypto Portfolio (see our analysts’ portfolio buys and sells), with the reasoning behind each one, including the ones we passed on.
Your plan is written down
Every member builds a Strategy Sheet, their own written plan, and a Profit Ladder for taking profits on the way up. In the Accelerator that happens in a 4-week strategy build at the start of the 12 months.
